Poopy Day...

Hunter and I had an interest thing happen on Monday evening. He had a poopy diaper, my back was really hurting that day, so I was in the middle of changing his diaper on the living room floor. All of a sudden the door bell rang, so I ignored it, but it kept ringing. I started to get flustered and annoyed and hurried up and put a new diaper on him. I set the dirty diaper to the side and ran to get the door.

Of course, just who I wanted to see, Kirby vacuum sales people that would not take no for an answer. Finally, after a few minutes of me being blunt and telling them that I do not want a Kirby AND I do not have time for them to clean my carpet, they finally left.

I returned to Hunter only to find that he had rolled his way over to the poopy diaper and had taken out one of the hard turds. He had proceeded to hold the turd in between his fingers and then put it to his mouth to gum it. GROSS!!! I freaked out a little and of course, cleaned him up, washed out his mouth, and immediately called my dad to see if he was going to get sick from it.

I had mentioned that life as I knew it was about to change.... boy was I right! I've never been one to have to learn the hard way for the most part, but I feel like it's a whole different story when it comes to parenting. Lesson learned..... do not leave Hunter anywhere near anything that I don't want him to hand, especially poopy diapers!
